Privacy Policy

Otty is a startup based in Antwerp, Belgium. We make an app that helps children build healthy brushing habits. Contact us at: otty.connect@gmail.com

• Early access signups: your email address and country
• Beta testers: your email address, the ages of your children, and your responses to feedback questions
• App usage: session frequency and feature usage, used only to improve the product
• Brushing selfies: only if you and your child actively choose to share one when prompted. Sharing is always opt-in, and you are asked each time.

Otty uses on-device AI to give children real-time brushing feedback through the front camera. The app asks for camera permission each session before anything is activated. By default, no video or images are recorded or uploaded. All analysis happens directly on your device. Parents can optionally choose to contribute anonymised data to help improve our detection system. This is always opt-in.

When a brushing selfie is shared, it is stored so family and friends can see it. When a new selfie is shared, the previous one is automatically deleted. Selfies are never shared or stored without your explicit consent each time.

Otty is designed for children aged 2–10. We only process a child's data with verified parental or guardian consent. Parents manage all privacy settings on behalf of their child.

• Early access emails: until you unsubscribe or request deletion
• Beta tester data: deleted or anonymised within 30 days of the beta period ending
• Brushing selfies: automatically deleted when the next selfie is shared
• Feedback and survey responses: kept for product development but anonymised after the beta closes
